Instructions
  1. Dice watermelon into big chunks, approximately 1” square. Thinly slice the red onion lengthwise, end to end, not crosswise, and separate into individual strands. Combine both ingredients in mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in the red wine vinegar. Toss lightly.
  3. Thinly slice, or ribbon, a few fresh leaves of basil. Sprinkle over the melon salad as garnish and serve.
